Our pastor, Jay Fowler, communicates in a warm, engaging way about topics that are relevant for your life today, and our incredible music team will help engage your heart and mind and inspire you to grow closer to God.

Cambridge Church meets at Blue Valley Middle School, 5001 W. 163rd Terrace, Overland Park, KS (between Roe and Nall).

Our Church

Cambridge Church is a growing, fresh young church with a sense of humor. The music is upbeat with meaningful lyrics that are easy to sing. Although our style is causal and fun, it's also genuine and from the heart; a creative blend of the old and new.

We pride ourselves on being a relaxed, family-friendly place. Casual clothing and the fun atmosphere make Cambridge a low-pressure environment. We try to make the worship experience easy to follow so you can participate as much - or as little - as you like.  Our pastor is KC-area native Jay Fowler. Jay grew up in the metro and loves the people here. He likes to laugh, listen to alternative styles of music, play the guitar, play racquetball, and spend time with his wife and 3 kids. His passion, however, is helping people connect with God in a life changing way.

So feel free to bring a soda or cup of coffee, sit back, and enjoy the great music, practical message, and time for prayer and reflection. We hope you leave feeling excited to know God in a more personal way.

YOUNG FAMILY SUMMER EVENTS

A few of the young families (kids under 5) around Cambridge decided it was time to get out and enjoy each other, our kids, and some of the events around town this summer. We are getting out of the house and going to enjoy the outdoors at least twice every month thru August (at least) - one time with the kids, one time without! Yeah, us!

July 26 - The Berry Patch Family Fun Day

Date & Time: Saturday, July 26 from 9-12:30ish

Location: The Berry Patch, 223^rd and State Line Road

Description: We are a, family fun, you-pick (or we-pick) berry farm. Our Specialty: Missouri's Largest Blueberry Grower. Lots of kids activities (hay maze, blueberry train, zip line, etc.

Cost: FREE!! (except for food and blueberries that you want to take home).

Meet: At the Berry Patch.

Alternate: (If its rainy) Lunch and fun at Beach Bum Island, 135^th and Quivira from 11:00 - 12:30ish, same date

Adult Excursion:

July 11 - Friday Night Flicks - Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Date & Time: Friday Night, July 11 from 6:00 to around 11:00

Location: Crown Center

Description: Dinner and the movie

Cost: FREE for the movie, dinner beforehand at about $10-$15pp

Meet: at the restaurant - Accurso's Italian Restaurant, 5044 Main
Kansas City, MO 64112 - best Italian in the city. Carpool as you like.

Date & Time: Saturday, August 16, time TBA (probably a 7:00 game, but we would meet out there early, I hear they have an incredible playground, etc).
